I started a new job recently, still a Dental Office Manager but new clinic and new company. This change also came with a big move! The area is much larger, closer to so many things and opportunities seems endless…then Covid. We haven’t gotten to do anything because it’s all closed and oh man the cost of living in a bigger city! This place should come with a warning label!! You may wonder where we moved to, the middle, Indiana state line of Kentucky. We like to call it Indy-Ucky.
Indy-Ucky has brought nothing but sadness, people don’t discuss how hard it is to move your family away from extended family. How a raise only means so much if cost of living doesn’t eat it all and that a revenue bonus is only wonderful if the business isn’t new and in the negative already. I was easily sold the dream, so I am here to tell you if you have the Covid blues and are wanting to make a change stop down and think hard first.
